Waitlist privacy notice

Version 2 · 9 October 2026

Who is responsible?

Jessica Shorthose, trading as TheJessMayMethod, is responsible for the information you submit to this waitlist. The privacy contact is being finalised. The waitlist is closed until it is added.

What we collect and why

We collect your name, email address, optional phone number, selected fitness goals, preferred start date, workout days and times, coaching format and session frequency. We use these to manage your enquiry, assess availability and contact you about appropriate coaching. If you choose to provide relevant current or past medical history, we use it to prepare for your consultation and discuss appropriate exercise support. We also record when you joined and the consent wording versions.

Medical history is optional. Provide only information relevant to exercise; please do not upload records, identification numbers or information about other people. You can join without sharing health information and discuss it privately at your consultation. This form is not a medical assessment or an emergency service.

Your choice

Our lawful basis is your consent under Article 6(1)(a) of the UK GDPR. For optional health information, we additionally rely on your separate explicit consent under Article 9(2)(a). You can withdraw either consent at any time by emailing us, without affecting earlier lawful use. Withdrawing health-data consent does not require you to leave the waitlist. Joining is optional and does not reserve a place or commit you to buying. We do not use waitlist consent to send newsletters or unrelated promotions.

Who can access your details?

Waitlist records are accessible only through Jess’s signed-in management page. The website is hosted using OpenAI Sites and Cloudflare infrastructure; these service providers process information to operate the website. PureGym does not receive your waitlist submission from this form. We do not sell your information.

Provider processing may take place outside the UK. Before collecting submissions, TheJessMayMethod must confirm the applicable processing agreements, processing locations and lawful transfer safeguards. This draft must be updated if the verified arrangements require additional information.

How long we keep it

Our retention period for waitlist records, including optional health information, is 90 days from submission, or removed sooner if you withdraw. Expired entries are removed when the waitlist or management system next processes a request. If you become a client, any required client information will be collected and retained under a separate client privacy notice.

Your rights

You can ask to access, correct or erase your information, restrict its use, or receive a portable copy where applicable. Contact Jess using the email above. We normally respond within one month. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office.

Website technology

The form does not use advertising pixels or optional analytics. Hosting providers may process technical connection and security logs under their own service arrangements. Necessary authentication technology protects the management area. We make no automated decisions about whether you can train.
